Gathering up the poppies

Well, the beautiful poppies that we had in our garden have finally expired and dried out (sigh), so I spent some time yesterday gathering up all the seed heads and shaking out all the seeds ready for next year....I almost think that the seed heads are as beautiful as the poppies themselves:

And look at all the seeds that came from just these few heads; a huge bag full:

- we'll have poppies galore next Summer! :D

Mr Frog's back again by the way - he popped out to say hello as I was busy - then swiftly retreated under the shed! Think he's getting bigger - his legs looked MASSIVE! (maybe the large amount of rain we've been having for the past week did him some good!;D)
