Just thought I'd share with you a couple of things I treated myself to whilst in York the other weekend; being a huge cat lover, it was great to discover The Cat Gallery on Low Petergate....

- this light switch cover will go purrrrfectly with my study's soon-to-be new colour scheme. :)

- and I couldn't resist these cute l'il pegs; perfect for displaying all my favourite bits of inspiration :)

I can't wait to start the big makeover in a couple of weekend's time! :)

*by the way...following on from last week's posts - was gutted that Murray didn't quite make it to the final, but, I'm a very big Nadal fan too, so it all worked out good in the end...maybe next year Minty, maybe next year... :)

This cat is tooooooo cute!

Oh my word - I just had to share this with you all....happily browsing the blogging cosmos this morning I stumbled across this little gem from Color Me Katie - isn't he GORGEOUS!?? His name is Moo - love it!! Check out the post here.

Oh why do cats have to have such horrible habits sometimes? :(

- Look at her; all angelic....like butter wouldn't melt. Little did I know what horror would greet me the following morning....perhaps she'd been planning it all along...

This morning I went into the conservatory, opened up the blinds, and what did I see?? Chico, munching happily away on a poor little defenseless bird!! I was horrified; in all the 8 years we have owned her, I have never once witnessed such a gross act from her - I always thought she was such a lovely cat..obviously didn't hunt like most others (otherwise I would have noticed by now), but, alas, it seems I was wrong. 

Oh, Chico, why did you have to break the illusion.... :(

Told you it was all about the tea party.....

I was rather late in turning over my calendar this month and only realised this morning that it was still on March...look what I found when I did:

...being a lover of cats I couldn't resist this calendar when I saw it at the Chatsworth House garden centre...let me introduce you to Mrs Moggs - isn't she fab?! She LOVES a little tea party! :) There's a whole 12 months of fab poses, published by Maverick.

New month....new calendar!

I can't believe it's November already...where is the time going?? Anyway, it's time for another calendar to get me super-organised; this time featuring my cat! :) Bonfire night soon - YAY!

We had a lovely weekend - on Halloween night we visited Matlock Bath, where they have a large boat parade and illuminations every year; some of the entries were great - even WALL:E featured (LOVE him!). I'll pop some pictures up later in the week, but here's a little fellow I found perched outside a hotel....unfortunately, by the time I reached him, his light had gone out...thought he looked kinda cute sat amongst the foliage though, so took a pic.

.....sorry - a bit of a late post I'm afraid ( despite promising to be back on here yesterday! ) 

It's been a hectic couple of days getting the last minute bits and bobs finished for a forthcoming design meeting, so that's why I haven't been about,  but, I got there in the end...*PHEW*...and just in time for the weekend - YAY!! :) This time, I've been turning my attentions to pets - and this particular pooch looks a lot like our furry studio mascot - Harley! Hope you like him...

This cheeky scamp; peeping around the corner, is a lot like my gorgeous kitty too...bless her - she's still taking to sitting on that carpet; will she ever learn to love the new one?!

Anyway, I'm certainly ready for the weekend after all that hard work, so hope you all have a fabulous one...see you next week.

A protest......

Hellooo! I hope you all had a lovely weekend....we had new carpet fitted in the living room on Saturday, so we had lots of fun ripping the old one up in the morning... However, one little girl was NOT amused - how DARE we dump the carpet outside and upset her beloved home....this is what we found shortly after..................................................................................

.....poor little mite; we thought it was very amusing though :)
